Occasionally, Norris still watches his early films, and the most startling aspect is his hair.
"My hair was always this color," Norris says-reddish-brown-"and when I did the Bruce Lee movie in '72, `Return of the Dragon,' I looked at my hair and I thought, `That's kind of a bland color. I think I'll dye it blond.' "
So his then-wife dyed his hair. "After about four or five movies, I decided to just let it grow back to its natural color."
In "Walker," Norris retains his natural hair color to play Texas Ranger Cordell Walker, a traditional loner who is used to doing things his way.
